New Purse!

I was one of the first three to respond to my cousin Candice's "Pay It Forward" contest, and I just got my prize. Can you believe she made me a purse?! Amazing! I used it all weekend and love it - even a pocket inside for the small stuff. For those of you who participated in my "Pay It Forward" contest, please don't get your hopes up!

First Taste

Katelyn had her first taste of rice cereal this weekend. She really was unemotional about...no funny faces, no fussing...just kind of made a mess!

I put some new shoes on...

Josh got some new shoes from Grandma for Easter and we broke them out in the summer weather. Even strangers were giving compliments all day long, so we tried to take some pictures of it...easier said than done! This is the progression of our photo shoot!

Easter Sunday

We had a really great day on Sunday. We went to church in the morning and then spent the afternoon with Grandma, Pop-Pop and Great-Grandma in Shrewsbury.

Easter Egg Hunt

We hosted an Easter Egg Hunt on Saturday. Unfortunately, it poured all day long, so we had to move it inside. But no one seemed to mind much! Afterall, who cares where you are when there are jelly beans, fruit snacks, and chocolate hidden inside the eggs!

New Swings

Pancakes and Pajamas

Maybe we were crazy...but it seemed like a good idea at the time! It's spring break in Baltimore County, so we invited a bunch of moms with young kids over for a pajama party and pancake breakfast. There were about 16 moms...20 kids eating...plus a bunch of babies too! It was loud, it was messy, it was a lot of fun! I am pretty sure we will actually do this again! :)

We got almost everyone in the photo...believe it or not some people had already left, a few babies were napping, and a few people were out of the room when this photo was taken. It was a full house!

Katelyn in the Highchair!

We sat Katelyn in the highchair tonight. She looks so big sitting up! It will be amazing to watch as her little feet get closer and closer to the footrest in the next year - time goes by so fast!

Trains, Trains, Trains

Brendan brought over his trains for Josh to borrow...the first thing Josh says in the morning when we start to head downstairs is, "Choo-Choo!" Life is good!

Katelyn is five months old now! She is really reaching for toys now and exploring. It is fun to watch her playing with toys and putting everything in her mouth that she can! Her sitting is getting stronger and stronger. She can use her hands to hold herself up for a few seconds now. She holds her pacifier in her hand now and sucks on the edges - it drives us crazy sometimes, but we know it is good!
