Last gymnastics

Last week was Josh's last gymnastics class. Parents were allowed to observe the kids in action. It was pretty entertaining and we were the one's videotaping the whole thing! We were pretty disappointed though - Josh and Parker didn't tackle each other the entire time and that is usually a weekly occurrence!

Miss Michelle pushed the bar while Josh hung on it. He jumped off onto a cushion.
Definitely a favorite activity!

Parker and Josh shared the podium with their girlfriends...notice how they're standing!
(Do you like that Josh is holding his certificate upside-down?!)

This week was Katelyn's last class. She has really come a long way since September!
The balance beam is still one of her favorites and now she is starting to walk across it without holding onto anyone.

Look at her go! She can climb across a horizontal ladder now too!

Macy and Katelyn's favorite part is still getting stamps at the end of class from Mr. Joe.
They get their feet and hands all ready - so cute!

We're going on a tree hunt

Today we went with Kate and Jed for our annual Christmas tree cutting. Back to Doyle's Christmas Tree Farm because quite frankly, "O'Doyle Rules!" :) Both Josh and Katelyn were into the experience this year. Josh kept asking, "Where is our tree?" We told him we just had to keep looking for it!

Jed was armed and ready.

Kate and Kate(lyn)

Per tradition, Jed cut down our tree and Jeff cut down theirs.
Katelyn thought this part was amusing!

Josh commented on how strong Jed is!

"It's the most wonderful time of the year!"

Happy Thanksgiving!

We celebrated Thanksgiving with Gigi Gallo. Despite the snow and rain on Thanksgiving morning, we managed to get most of the leaves out of the yard and down the ravine.

Pop-Pop, Katelyn, Josh, and lots of animals!

Hooray for turkey!

Happy Thanksgiving!
We have so much to be thankful for!

A few things we've been up to

I heard music coming from the living room and found Katelyn with her feet propped up reading a Thomas book.
She was perfectly happy to find a place of her own!

Josh LOVES climbing this little tree in our yard.
You can see how thrilled he is to be so high!

We helped pack boxes for Operation Christmas Child with our small group from church. Josh and Katelyn each placed the shoeboxes they packed into the larger boxes to be sent to a little boy and girl their ages.

25,382 shoeboxes were collected from across the region and packed into boxes at our church. What amazing giving! We were blessed to be a part of this!

Before we met Daddy for lunch at his work,
we stopped by the playground near the airport to watch the planes land.

Josh drew a portrait of Daddy.
