We spent Sunday evening trimming the Christmas Tree. Katelyn and Josh each hung up their new snowglobe ornaments from Grandma and Pop-Pop Crossman. Josh proudly shows the camera his name! Katelyn is not too interested in the tree. She played with an ornament box for about 30 minutes and continued to play with it today!

We invited our friends, Chris and Melanie, up to help us decorate. They are moving in with us next weekend for a few months while their home is renovated. They were excited to have a home to decorate and we are excited to share this time with them!

This was prior to the tree tipping over while Betsy tried to put the star on top. Luckily Jeff and Chris caught it and now it is actually up straight!.jpg)

I'm glad the guys caught the tree. We had a tree-tipping (with water in the base) experience the first Christmas Jon and I were married when I convinced him to get a real tree (he never had them growing up)....and this was AFTER he and his old roommate had got one too tall for our family room and had to re-cut it. Then...there was the drying out episode and the needles starting to fall off. Needless to say, it took some convincing for him to get another one : )
