We traveled to Deep Creek for the weekend. On the way up on Saturday, we stopped at Sideling Hill to climb the hill and see the view. We've driven by it tons of times and never stopped. We can now officially check it off the list of things to do - and never have to go again. It was pretty anti-climatic! :)
The festivities officially started on Saturday evening at Granddad and Grandma's house for dinner and fireworks. Here are Grant, Jackson, Katelyn and Josh with Granddad and Grandma.

I love that you were unimpressed by Sideling Hill. My geology loving sister thinks it is the best place ever, but well you know I am not exactly into rocks. I thought I must be missing something... I guess not!
