Easter Weekend

We were so happy to have Nana,
Uncie and Chasity
at our house for Easter!

On Saturday, we went to DC in hopes
that we would see the Cherry Blossoms.
We were about a week or so too early,
but excited to be there for the
Kite Festival on the mall. 

We spent a long time just watching
the kites. Then a really kind family
lent us a kite to fly. It was so fun!

Then we took a paddle boat ride in the tidal basin.
It was a beautiful day!

We made resurrection rolls on Easter.
Uncie helped Josh count out the marshmallows. :)

On Easter morning, the kids found their baskets.

Josh gave a fist pump when he saw what the
Easter Bunny brought him.
