Friendsville Christmas

Granddad and Grandma loved the pictures that Josh
and Katelyn made them. And Josh and Katelyn loved
the chefs hats and aprons that they received!

Grandma and Katelyn worked on a magnet activity together.

Thanks for the new sheets Granddad!

Josh and Katelyn had fun with Kate and Jed making candy.
This is one of our favorite Christmas traditions.

Christmas Program

This was our final Preschool Christmas Program for Josh and our first for Katelyn. Josh was sporting a crown again this year as his class sang "We Three Kings." Katelyn's class sang "Away in a Manger." Both kids did a great job, but it was hard to see Katelyn...but we could see her do the motions! We loved celebrating this night with them - they practiced for a long time!

Army Time

Josh went to his friend Jax's 5th birthday party. It was complete with camo, face paint and a military operation. Josh had a really great time!

Successful Trip to the Dentist

It was time for Josh and Katelyn's six-month check-up. Katelyn told me ahead of time that she was going to be brave this time and sit by herself. And she did it and had a great check-up! The kids especially loved wearing the sunglasses.

From Texas to Baltimore

Betsy's cousin, Michelle, came for a visit from Texas with her husband, Dan, and two boys, Jacob and Jonah. We have always enjoyed visiting with them when Jeff had work in Texas and now they got to see where we live! Their flight was delayed from the storm and we were so happy they were able to still make it.

More Fall Fun

We took Nana to Valley View Farms to see the giant
pumpkins and hay maze. It's another one of our
favorite fall traditions.

Our Family!
We love you, Nana!

Cupcake Party Details

Katelyn asked for a cupcake birthday party.
This was our theme!

There was a large "cupcake" cake and smaller
cupcakes for the kids to decorate themselves.

Jed made Katelyn these amazing chocolate
cupcake lollipops.
They were beautiful AND delicious.
Thank you for putting so much time
into make these, Jed!

The kids were surprised by the rainbow
cupcakes! It was fun to finally have a good
excuse to make these!

The craft table was all set for making flowers out of
cupcake papers. Some were attached to pipe cleaners as
flowers, but we attached others to necklaces and headbands.
This was a big hit!

All of the Grandparents!

Grandma and Granddad came to celebrate Katelyn's day!

Nana stayed for the weekend too!

YiaYia and Pop-Pop joined the party too!
We were so thankful all of the grandparents could
come to Katelyn's birthday party. What a special day!

Happy 4th Birthday, Katelyn!

Katelyn turned 4 today! We had a fun party with her girl friends and cupcakes!
Daddy helped Katelyn pick out cupcake wrappers
to make her flowers.
Molly and Dirk doing some coloring.

Katelyn chose icing and marshmallows
for her cupcake toppings.

Ellie was having fun!

Molly showed Josh her cupcake creation.

Bailey's creation. There were lots of sprinkles involved!

Happy Birthday - 4 candles for the
4 year old, plus one to grow on!

Ania was sporting her new flowered headband

Macy did a double flower version - she's always a trend setter.
Katelyn and Macy are silly best friends!

Trunk or Treat

We went to Trunk or Treat at church. I didn't take a lot of pictures while we were there, but it was a really great night. There were lots of cars handing out candy, fun carnival games (complete with goldfish!), inflatables to bounce on and fire trucks. Thank you to everyone who organized it!

Josh chose to be Iron Man - he LOVES this costume!
Katelyn decided last week that she would be a princess.
But not just any princess, but Princess Katelyn. She chose
every part of her "costume". Pretty much everybody
asked if she was Dorothy because of the red shoes - we
had to direct them to the crown. :)

This is a terrible picture, but this was one of the coolest
moon bounces ever - it was very fun!
