Sailabration 2012

It's the 200th anniversary of the War of 1812 in Baltimore. This week is full of celebrations.
We started the celebration on Wednesday watching the U.S. Navy Elite Parachutists "Leap Frog" into Patterson Park. It was a beautiful evening and our first time in the park. Our night was complete with a picnic with Chris, Miles and Baby Jackson! (We missed you Melanie!)

Today we headed to the Inner Harbor to see the tall ships that sailed into Baltimore for the week. We watched Great Britain's Royal Marine Drum Corp, then headed to tour a tall ship from Mexico. Josh enjoyed saying, "Hola" to the sailors and was excited when they replied in Spanish too. One ship met the kids' needs - so we took a break for lunch and ice cream. Josh's favorite part seemed to be watching the City Sand Sculpture being completed. He didn't want to leave!
