Family Vacation Highlights

In July, we drove to Sandusky, Ohio for a week with the Squires-Roberts family. It was a relaxing time and each day was different. The week started with a family reunion with Helen's aunt and cousins. We had a fun time meeting our extended family and getting to know each other again after many, many years!

This also started a week of Katelyn and Jackson pushing each other's buttons. There was a constant chorus of "mine" and "no" and pushing and running away from each other. This is not what we expected when we had babies 10 days apart! Oil and water, I tell you! We can only pray they grow out of it!

The kids learned a new game they had never heard of...but any game that you get to smack a ball with a mallet is a great game!

Even Katelyn gave croquet a try!

Everywhere we go, Josh finds the mower or tractor. It makes me think of my high school days when people wore the, "A day without ____ (enter baseball, football, softball, etc.), is like a day without sunshine."
Josh's would say, "A day without mowing is like a day without sunshine."

With the help of the cousins, we got the mower fired up and the trailer connected for rides around the yard.

Day is done...
